About Us
The Strawberry Line Cafe prides itself on friendly service from our team. We employ local people from our community and offer employment and training to people with learning disabilities.
Virginia is our cafe manager, and Sheryl, Fay, Sian, Lily, Phoebe, Betty, Gemma and Cadel are supervisors. Lucy, Kevin, Callum, Harry, Ellie, Ryan, Michael and Charlie serve customers and work in the cafe.
Meet our team
Lucy
"I love training more people to be independent and training them on their work placements and making different recipes like cakes. Main events - I've done Jamaican Night. I love to do tea, coffees and the till. I can do the best hot chocolate, cream and marshmallows in the whole world."
Lucy's favourite food: everything on the menu, but not coconut.
Kevin
"I just love seeing colleagues every day and lovely customers. I am a kitchen assistant, like cooking and serving food, stock rotation, washing up, emptying bins, till work and teasing my coworker Sue."
Kevin's favourite food: Lemon drizzle cake or Victoria sponge cake
Harry
"I love working in the cafe. I do a bit of everything - wait, pot wash, barista and handy man. I serve customers food and drink."
Harry's favourite food: Date and honey flapjack
Callum
"I love working at the Strawberry Line Cafe, emptying the dishwasher, talking to customers & serving them their food and drinks."
