The Community Cafe at Yatton Railway Station
The Strawberry Line cafe on platform one of Yatton Railway Station isn’t your ordinary, run-of-the-mill railway cafe. The Strawberry Line Cafe Project Interest Company (CIC), was set up in 2008 to restore and run a community cafe on Yatton Station.
It is a not-for-profit social enterprise, set up to involve adults with learning disabilities and enable them to gain the skills to work in the catering industry.
The CIC is governed by a voluntary Board Of Directors and is supported by many local individuals and organisations.
Here you’ll find a slice of the past as well as a slice of homemade cake, a welcome as warm as our roaring wood fire and food freshly prepared onsite from quality ingredients instead of the standard commuter fare.
We’re open seven days a week for breakfast, lunch, snacks and afternoon tea. Whether you need to grab a quick bite and a coffee to take away when catching the train, stopping for a treat when out exploring the Strawberry Line or looking for a tasty, homecooked meal, we’d be delighted to serve you.
