The Community Cafe at YATTON
The Strawberry Line Cafe on platform one of Yatton Railway Station isn’t your ordinary, run-of-the-mill railway cafe. The Strawberry Line Cafe Project Interest Company (CIC), was set up in 2008 to restore the derelict building and run a community cafe on Yatton Station.
We are a not-for-profit social enterprise, set up to employ and train adults with learning disabilities and enable them to gain the skills to work in the catering and hospitality industry.

CYCLE HIRE UPDATE: We are very pleased and excited to announce that we will be reopening this much needed community facility in April 2020, lots of work is going on behind the scenes and we will have more news soon including a Crowdfunder launch. In the meantime and we need your help – please complete our cycle hire online survey or call into the Cafe for a paper copy – to give us your feedback. Thank you.
Watch our fantastic short film…….
……telling you all about our wonderful little Cafe, what we do and where to find us.
Hope you enjoy it and if you do, please share. Thank you.
The CIC is governed by a voluntary Board Of Directors and is supported by many local individuals and organisations.
Here you’ll find a slice of the past as well as a slice of homemade cake, a welcome as warm as our roaring wood burner and food freshly prepared onsite from quality ingredients instead of the standard commuter fare.
We’re open seven days a week for breakfast, lunch, snacks and afternoon tea. Whether you need to grab a quick bite and a coffee to take away when catching the train, stopping for a treat when out exploring the Strawberry Line or looking for a tasty, home cooked meal, we’d be delighted to serve you.
Dogs and their well behaved companions are also welcome.
