The Strawberry Line Café Project will shortly benefit from a donation of £500 due to an innovative scheme.  The donation will be made by local businessman Rob Cox in a scheme that pledges part of the profits of DVD sales to local good causes. The DVD in question is ‘Cycle  Repairs – A Beginners Guide‘.   Rob said, “We chose to help the café project because I use the Strawberry Line myself and would like to see it develop some good facilities for cyclists. It’s a great project to benefit the community in several ways. More and more people are getting on their bikes around Yatton and Bristol and want to know how to keep them well maintained so we can all help each other by working together”.

Strawberry Line Café Project Secretary Faith Moulin said, “We have been very excited by the fantastic support of local businesses for the project so far and are delighted to join forces with Rob Cox.  This is an interesting idea for raising money which is of great benefit to charitable causes, and for us the £500 will make a great contribution to the restoration of the station building”.
