I think at least one house newspaper is a good investment - can be a go/nogo decision maker for me when choosing where to go for a coffee. Cafe jazz at the right volume does wonders for ambience I reckon too. Re cafes which get it right, Velo Lounge here in Oldfield Park gets everything right in my book (inc the above); they have one in Bristol too I gather. hth, K.
